General information about the degree

The Higher Technician in Social Integration is a two-year higher vocational training course that prepares you to support people facing social disadvantage. You will learn to design and carry out projects that improve their independence, inclusion and wellbeing, always with respect and in safe environments.

During the course you will study the context of social intervention, community mediation, social and job integration, support for family units and support for educational intervention, as well as first aid. Once you finish, you could work as an educator in residential centres, with people with disabilities or in family education, as a social programme technician, or as a community or intercultural mediator. You can also go on to a specialisation course or a university degree.

This is a good path if you enjoy helping people and working in a team, and if you see yourself listening, observing and looking for solutions alongside others.
