The Double Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education with a Mention in English at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) is taught at the Campus Terres de l'Ebre in Tortosa. The Tortosa campus offers 10 places. Teaching is split between Catalan (80%), Spanish (5%) and English (15%), and the plan includes the Mention in English. Placements run throughout the degree: one week in a school in the first year and a total of 1,440 hours of school placements. In the fourth year students can do a placement abroad in an English-speaking school, and in the fifth year the alternating teaching placements are linked to the work of the Faculty's subjects. Students can take part in Service-Learning projects and use the campus Aula Idees, a teaching innovation classroom based on the Reinvent the Classroom model. The final-year project has an educational research focus.
