This course teaches you to work in a laboratory where materials and products are tested to check that they meet quality standards. You will learn to take samples, prepare them, carry out the right tests and then write reports with the results. At Institut Montilivi, in Girona, you can do part of your training in companies through the dual route. In the second year, the school looks at whether you can take the intensive dual option, depending on the offers from companies and your results.

You will study sampling and sample preparation, chemical and instrumental analysis, physical and microbiological tests, and quality and safety in the laboratory.
