This course teaches you how to set up, look after and improve the computer systems of a company or organisation: servers, networks, internet services and databases. At Institut Carles Vallbona you can choose the cybersecurity profile, where you learn to detect attacks, find out where they come from and protect information. By the end you will know how to manage Linux and Windows servers with security in mind.

You will study, among other things, operating system deployment, network planning, database management and security with high availability, and you will do work placements in companies in the sector. Afterwards you can work as a systems technician, a network technician or a database technician, as a cybersecurity technician or in technical support, or as the IT manager of a business.
