This course prepares you to drive vehicles that carry goods or passengers on the road. You will learn to do it safely, following traffic and transport rules, and to look after the vehicle with basic checks. Once you finish, you can work as a professional driver. At Institut Montilivi you can do your work placement in a company, either through the FCT or dual format, so you see the real job before you finish.

Over the two years you will study safe and efficient driving, goods and passenger transport services, warehouse operations and basic vehicle maintenance. You will also cover first aid, English, and how to look for work or start your own business. You could work as an international lorry driver, a city or intercity bus driver, a taxi driver, a van driver, or a tanker or refrigerated vehicle driver. Logistics firms, parcel delivery companies and roadside assistance services also hire people with this training.
