This intermediate-level course prepares you to care for people in healthcare, as part of a nursing team. You will learn to give basic care to patients and to always work under the supervision of a qualified nurse. Part of the training takes place in companies in the sector, so you can practise in a real setting.

During the course you will study hygiene and basic care based on each person's needs, first aid, cleaning and preparing medical equipment, and psychological support and health education. You will also help in dental clinics. Once you finish, you can work as a nursing assistant in hospitals, clinics or health centres, in home care, or in mental health, geriatric or paediatric units.
