Administrative management, healthcare profile · Institut Carles Vallbona

Presentation
General information about the degree
This intermediate-level course prepares you to give administrative support in public and private companies, with a route focused on the health sector. When you finish, you will get the official technician qualification and know how to process documents, look after clients and users, and organise the information in an office. It runs in the afternoon over two academic years and includes work placements in companies in the sector as part of the FP Dual format, so you learn in a real setting.
You will study accounting, buying and selling operations, human resources management, treasury, business communication and applied IT. You will also take specific modules on healthcare management and on information for supporting tests and complementary services. Afterwards you could work as an administrative assistant, a receptionist or a public-facing staff member in health centres and services, or in company and public administration offices.
This may suit you if you enjoy keeping papers and data in good order and dealing with people in a friendly way. If you want to keep studying, you can continue with a higher-level course in Administration and Finance or in Management Assistance.
