What do you study in Machining?

If you are passionate about precision, industrial technology and working hands-on with real materials, the Machining Technician programme prepares you to master the machines and processes used to shape the metal parts found in everything around us.

  • You will learn to interpret manufacturing drawings and decide how to machine each part
  • You will programme CNC machines, robots and industrial manipulators
  • You will practise with lathes, milling machines and electrical discharge machines in real workshops
  • You will master abrasion, forming and special process techniques
  • You will verify part quality using professional metrology instruments
  • You will understand automated systems used in manufacturing

Upon completion, you will be able to work as a machine tool operator, lathe operator, milling machine operator or industrial robot operator in sectors such as automotive, aerospace or machinery manufacturing.
