What do you study in Dentistry?

Dentistry is about much more than filling teeth: it is a branch of healthcare where you combine scientific knowledge with highly precise manual skills to care for people's oral health. You will study how the human body works, learn to diagnose diseases and perform real treatments from the first years of the degree.

  • Anatomy, physiology and microbiology applied to the mouth and teeth
  • Clinical diagnosis through examinations, X-rays and specific tests
  • Orthodontic, implantology, endodontic and oral surgery treatments
  • Prevention and health education for patients of all ages
  • Supervised clinical practice in university clinics from the first years of study

Graduating in Dentistry opens the door to practising in private clinics, hospitals or the public health system, or even setting up your own practice.
