General information about the degree

The higher-level vocational training cycle in Social Integration prepares you to design and carry out interventions that help people feel well and take part in society, with a strong focus on equal opportunities and respect for each person's way of being. When you finish, you will be able to support people of different ages and situations and create safe settings for them and for you. From the first year you will do work placements in companies, and in the second year you can choose between training in workplaces in dual mode or an Erasmus placement.

You will learn to plan social integration activities, to meet physical and psychosocial needs, to mediate in conflicts, and to communicate using alternative or augmentative systems for people who need them. You will also work on personal autonomy and job integration. You could work as an educator for people with disabilities, a labour integration technician, a community mediator, a family support worker, or in teams in residential centres and social services.
