General information about the degree

The Higher Technician in Social Integration is a higher-level Vocational Training programme that prepares you to support people and groups facing social disadvantage. You will learn to design, organise and evaluate interventions that promote equal opportunities, always with respect for the people you work with and by creating safe environments for them and for yourself.

You will study subjects such as the context of social intervention, methods of social intervention, community mediation and support for personal autonomy, along with first aid, social skills and professional English. Once you finish, you can work as a programme technician for social prevention and integration, an educator in residential centres, a family worker, a community or intercultural mediator, or a monitor for people with disabilities.

This course suits you if you enjoy working with people, listening, and finding solutions together in the everyday life of the community.
