General information about the degree

This higher-level vocational training cycle prepares you to plan and carry out projects that promote equal treatment and equal opportunities for women and men. You will learn to spot situations of discrimination based on sex, to bring a gender perspective into every stage of an intervention, and to lead groups so that women take a greater part in social life and in decision-making.

During the course you will study social intervention methods, community development, prevention of gender-based violence, promotion of women's employment, and communication with non-sexist language. Afterwards you can work as an equality promoter or as a technical support officer for equality, in associations, trade unions, companies, consultancies, community centres or equality bodies. You can also go on to university degrees in social sciences, health sciences, or arts and humanities.

It suits you if inequality between men and women bothers you and you enjoy working with people and in teams.
