General information about the degree

This course teaches you how to plan and control the manufacturing of mechanical parts and equipment, from the moment a drawing arrives until the product is finished. When you complete it, you will be able to decide which machining processes to use and prepare the assembly of capital goods, always keeping quality in mind.

During the course you will study how to read technical drawings, computer-aided manufacturing, programming of numerical control machines and production scheduling with computer tools. You will also learn quality management, occupational risk prevention and environmental protection. Afterwards you can work in metal and machinery manufacturing industries as a CNC programmer, production planner, mechanical technician or supervisor of assembly workers.

Machines, computers and organising the work of a team are at the heart of this course, especially if you are curious about how a product is born inside a factory.
