General information about the degree

This higher-level vocational training cycle prepares you to plan and control the manufacture of mechanical parts and equipment. You will learn how to organise production, decide which materials are needed and when, and make sure everything is made as planned. By the end you will know how to prepare and supervise the work of numerical control machines and robots.

During the course you will study the reading of technical drawings, defining machining and assembly processes, programming machines and automated systems, computer-aided manufacturing and production scheduling. You will also cover quality management and occupational risk prevention. Afterwards you could work as a CNC programmer, production planner, mechanical technician, or as a supervisor of assemblers and machine operators in metalworking workshops and factories.

It suits you if you enjoy mechanics, computer tools applied to the factory floor, and organising the work of a team.
