General information about the degree

This course teaches you how to set up, configure and look after the computer systems of a company or organisation. You will learn how servers, networks and data can keep working well and stay protected, even when an unexpected problem appears. It is an on-site programme at Egibide in Vitoria-Gasteiz, with morning classes, and it includes a period of work placement in companies.

During the course you will work with server operating systems, network services such as the web and email, databases and communication networks. You will also study security and high availability, so you can recover a system after a failure. Once you finish, you can work as a systems administrator, network technician, database administrator or IT support technician in the IT department of any organisation.

This suits you if you enjoy understanding how computers and networks connect, and if you like tracking down the cause of a fault until you fix it.
