General information about the degree

This course teaches you to design mechanical manufactured products: parts, moulds and tools that factories then produce. When you finish, you will be able to come up with a solution, do the calculations, draw it with CAD software and look after quality, safety and the environment. You can study it in Spanish or Basque, and some modules can also be taken in English.

You will learn to make technical drawings of parts, design mechanical products, create moulds for plastics and casting, and design tools for sheet metal and stamping. You will also look at automation of manufacturing and sustainability in production. With this qualification you can work as a technical draughtsperson, CAD technician, or in product, die, tooling or mould development, mainly in machinery, electronics and transport equipment companies.

It suits you if you enjoy drawing, like to understand how things are made inside, and enjoy solving problems on the computer.
