General information about the degree

This Higher Level course teaches you to design tools, parts and mechanisms used to make machines and other industrial equipment. You will learn to turn an idea into a prototype and to make sure the result is of good quality. You can also take it in the dual format, alternating classes with real work in a company.

Over the two years you will study technical drawing, mechanical product design, mould design for plastics and for casting, and manufacturing automation. You will work with 2D and 3D design software, like the programmes professionals use in the sector. Once you finish, you could work as a draughtsperson, a CAD technician, or a product development technician for dies, tooling and moulds.

If you enjoy drawing, putting things together and finding ways to improve an object, this course gives you a clear path.
