Presentation
General information about the degree
📚 Overview
The UPV/EHU Double Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering provides comprehensive training in two of the most important branches of industrial engineering. The programme covers core knowledge in physics, mathematics, computing and technical drawing, along with specific subjects in mechanics (machine design and manufacturing, structures and materials) and industrial electronics (electronic systems, automation, industrial control and instrumentation). Students gain the skills to design, analyse and optimise mechanical and electronic systems, as well as to integrate automated solutions into industrial environments.
✨ Specific Information
This double degree leads to two qualifications in less time than studying them separately. The curriculum includes practical work in specialist laboratories and the option to complete external placements in companies in the sector. UPV/EHU also promotes international mobility through Erasmus programmes and agreements with other universities.
👤 Recommended Profile
The programme is aimed at students interested in technology, innovation and solving complex problems. A good aptitude for mathematics, physics and logical reasoning is recommended, along with the ability to work in a team and curiosity about industrial processes and automation.
🚀 Further Study and Career Prospects
After completing the double degree, graduates can pursue master's degrees in industrial engineering, automation, robotics, renewable energy or other related fields, or enter the job market directly in industrial, technology or research sectors.
