Presentation
General information about the degree
📚 Overview
The Double Degree in Law and Finance, Accounting and Auditing at Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO) leads to both degrees simultaneously. It is taught for the first time in the 2026/2027 academic year by the Faculties of Law and Business Sciences: 408 ECTS over six years, on campus and in Spanish, with 66 places for 2026/27. It combines legal training with a solid grounding in finance, accounting and auditing, and guarantees all the competences of each of the two degrees.
✨ Specific Information
Students take 54 basic and 126 compulsory credits from each degree, plus 30 shared professional-development credits, averaging 72 credits per year. The programme consists of five years on campus plus a final semester of professional development (external placements and Final Degree Project) that does not require attendance on campus. Students complete only one of the two External Placements but must write two Final Degree Projects. UPO offers mobility through Erasmus, SICUE and other programmes.
👤 Recommended Profile
Suited to students interested in both Law and the economics and finances of organisations, and willing to take on a heavier workload than a single degree. Ease with mathematical and statistical tools and strong analytical and argumentation skills are helpful.
🚀 Career and Further Study Opportunities
Graduates combine the training of a lawyer with in-depth knowledge of auditing, financial and accounting management, banking, insurance and financial and tax advice. They can work in companies, banks and insurers, practise as auditors, operate in financial markets or manage assets, and seek national and international certifications. They have access to the career paths of both degrees, in the national and international job market, or can go on to an official master's degree.
