Presentation
General information about the degree
This higher-level course prepares you to design, install and maintain electrical systems and automated systems. When you finish, you will be able to write technical projects, calculate equipment and commission installations, always following the low-voltage electrical regulations. It is taught on site at the Institut de Nàutica de Barcelona, with afternoon classes, and includes periods of training in companies.
During the course you will learn about electrical circuits, home and building automation, electricity networks and transformer substations, and technical documentation. Afterwards you could work as a technical designer of electrical projects, a designer of low-voltage installations for homes and buildings, or a supervisor of outdoor lighting installations, among other roles.
It suits you if you enjoy calculations and technical drawings, and if you want to see how a real installation works on site.
