General information about the degree

The Higher Technician in Electronic Maintenance is a two-year Vocational Training programme at the Egibide centre in Vitoria-Gasteiz, with on-site classes in the morning. Here you will learn to maintain and repair electronic equipment and systems, from industrial and professional devices to consumer ones. When you finish, you will know how to plan and organise maintenance work, keeping safety and quality in mind.

You will study analogue electronic circuits, microprogrammable equipment, and maintenance of audio, video and radiocommunication equipment, as well as assembly techniques. You will also take professional English, and digitalisation and sustainability applied to industry. Afterwards you could work in service companies that repair radio and television systems, home automation and security systems, local networks, professional audio and video equipment, or industrial machinery. If you want to keep studying, you can take specialisation courses or a university engineering degree.

This suits you if you enjoy taking apart, testing and fixing devices, and if you like understanding step by step how a circuit works.
