General information about the degree

This intermediate-level vocational course prepares you to install and maintain electrical systems, electrical machines and automated systems. You will learn to work in buildings and in industry, always with safety and respect for the environment in mind. Part of the training takes place in companies, so you will see real work from the inside.

You will study industrial automation, electronics, electrotechnology, indoor electrical installations, home automation and solar photovoltaic installations. Once you finish, you could work as a construction electrician, an industrial or maintenance electrician, an installer of aerials or home automation systems, or a fitter of solar panels. Many of these jobs are in small and medium-sized companies.

This suits people who like solving problems with their hands and seeing the result in a electrical panel or a machine running.
