Presentation

General information about the degree

This higher-level vocational training course prepares you to look after aircraft with turbine engines. You will learn to inspect, repair and maintain the engines, the airframe and the aircraft systems, both on the apron and in the hangar or workshop. Once you finish, you will be able to carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance on the aircraft following aviation regulations and safety rules.

In the first year you will study maths, physics, electricity and electronics applied to aircraft mechanics, as well as aviation law and human factors. Then you will look at aerodynamics, structures, hydraulic and electrical systems, gas turbine engines and propellers. When you finish, you could work as an aircraft maintenance technician for airlines, in companies that build and assemble aircraft, or in non-destructive testing and engine adjustment.
